Young artist Rose Turner seeks ease from her newfound anxiety and depression brought on by a family friend's suicide, and finds solace in nature, mentors, and comics.

Self Inflicted (44 min) explores the hidden world of Non Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI) through the eyes of self-harmers young and old, while seeking to understand this misunderstood practice through conversations with leading researchers and psychologists.

Perfection (2011)

Three young women in Fairfax, VA share their stories about their struggles with eating disorders and their desire for perfection, in this short film that screened at seven film festivals across the country. ​​
